After months of cryptic messages on Facebook announcing trips to the National Archives, researching at the Library of Congress, and more, I’m proud to announce the upcoming
arrival of…
a new website
dedicated to the work that has been done over the last two years. You may want to follow the expanding amount of information which will appear on the site and perhaps show up at the events that will be listed there… the first is coming up in a few weeks 24 MAR 2011 at the Arlington County Virginia Central Library.
I present to you – Historic Fort Myer

During and after World War II Fort Myer became the permanent garrison o the US Army Band (TUSAB) – “Pershing’s Own” in 1942 and the 3d Infantry Regiment –“The Old Guard” (TOG) since 1948.
